For the strawberry cupcake, set aside 2 tablespoons sugar. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and vanilla sugar.

Stir cocoa powder with the milk and add to the flour-sugar mixture with the oil. Mix well. Now stir in honey and lemon juice. Finally, stir in the water.

Brush a baking tray with oil and spread the mixture on it. Bake the mug cake in the preheated oven at 180 °C for about 35 minutes.

Mix the strawberries with the remaining sugar and cover the cooled cake with them.

Serve the strawberry cupcake chilled.

Preparation Tip:

Vary this strawberry cupcake recipe by topping it with pitted plums cut into wedges, or by topping it with a white chocolate glaze (melt chocolate and a little coconut oil in a water bath).
