Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 250 °C , if possible with the broiler on. Rinse the peppers, carefully remove the stem and remove the seeds and partitions through this hole without damaging the pods. Place on a tray with parchment paper and bake in the oven for 5 min until the skin turns dark brown, then turn the peppers to the other side and let them brown in 5 min on the other side as well.

Remove from heat and cool for 10 min. Remove the skin while still warm.

Cut the feta cheese into 2 cm wide, 1/2 cm thick strips. Remove the skin from the garlic and chop finely. Sprinkle the culinary herbs on a plate, mix with the garlic. Turn the strips of feta cheese in herbs and garlic on the other side, fill in the peppers, season lightly with salt on the outside and season with pepper.

Place in the hot stove for another 5 minutes, remove, arrange on a platter and drizzle with juice of one lemon and olive oil. Serve warm with other entrées.

Summer to late fall. Alternatively, you can use red peppers cut in half lengthwise.

Our tip: As an alternative to fresh herbs, you can also use frozen ones – they also stand out for their fresh taste!
