A great pasta dish for any occasion:
Soften potatoes including peel, peel while hot, strain and cool. Mix in the butter, add the egg yolks. Add flour and spices and knead well. Shape into thin rolls on a floured surface and cut small pieces with a kitchen knife. Use the palms of your hands to tighten the ends a little bit.
Cook in salted water for two minutes, remove with a skimmer and drain. Toss in butter until nicely browned. Sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Tip: The ingredients for the dough should all have the same heat. Kneaded by hand, the dough becomes nice and fluffy.
