Instructions:

Pour 100 ml of the milk into a bowl. Bring the remaining milk to the boil in a saucepan. Whisk cornstarch with vanilla sugar in the milk bowl.

When milk in saucepan comes to a boil, slowly stir in this mixture, cook stirring for about 1 minute, then turn off stove top and pour custard into 4 small ramekins.

Let cool.

Scald half of the plums hot and peel them, add the maple syrup and puree, boil the puree once.

Pit the rest of the plums and save them for decoration.

Turn the cold pudding onto a mush mirror and serve decorated with the halved plums.

Preparation Tip:

Sprinkled with nuts or brittle, the dessert still gets something crunchy nutty.
