Instructions:

For the Pasta Siciliana, first peel and dice the onion and sauté in olive oil.

Cook the pasta of your choice according to package instructions until al dente.

Squeeze the garlic to the onions and add the anchovy fillets to the pan as well.

Add the tomatoes, capers and olives one by one, stirring constantly to mix well, reduce the heat and leave to infuse well.

Lastly, mix the basil into the sauce (holding back a little for decoration) and mix through with the pasta.

Sprinkle the pasta Siciliana with the remaining basil and arrange in a bowl.

Preparation Tip:

Add grated pecorino to the Pasta Siciliana in an extra bowl.
