Grate the potatoes and onion. Pour hot milk over them. Add eggs, salt and flour. Rub hot frying pan with bacon rind.

Put two spoonfuls of dough on the frying pan and fry on both sides. Later, briefly dry the “cakes” on a hot plate.

Serve with beet syrup or possibly butter.

Our tip: Use a deliciously spicy bacon for a delicious touch!
