For the orange star anise marmalade, wash the organic oranges hot and peel with a peeler. Cut the peels into fine strips.
Fillet the oranges (preferably using a grapefruit knife) and collect the juice. Bring the orange peel, orange fillets, orange juice, star anise and preserving sugar to the boil together and boil for about 6-7 minutes until bubbling.
Then remove the anise stars again and place on a plate. Fill the jam into jars and place one anise star on top of each jar before sealing the orange-star anise jam.
Preparation Tip:
The orange star anise marmalade is also excellent with meat dishes or even cheese.
