Instructions:

Peel and finely chop the onions and sauté lightly in 1 tablespoon of hot butter.

Drain the anchovies, reserving the broth. Cut the anchovies into small pieces.

Peel the potatoes and grate coarsely. Place 1/3 in a greased baking dish, drizzle with 2-3 tablespoons of the drained broth, pepper and lightly salt if necessary.

Spread half of the anchovies and onions on top, repeat the process again, then finish with the remaining potatoes.

Pour 150 ml of whipped cream over the top. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top, spread the remaining butter in flakes and bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 200 °C for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, pour the rest of the whipped cream over the casserole and bake for another 25-30 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

It goes well with green salad.
