For the Bratwurst Baguette, preheat the oven to 220 °C. Peel the sausages and chop finely or mash with a fork.

Peel the onion, chop into small cubes and mix with the sausage mixture. Remove the seeds from the pepperoni, chop finely and mix together with mustard and softened butter, season with salt and pepper.

Cut the baguette in half lengthwise and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Spread the sausage mixture on the bread halves with a tablespoon and bake in the oven on the middle shelf at 220 °C for about 10 minutes.

Sprinkle with Gouda and bake at the same temperature for about 2 more minutes until the cheese has melted.

Arrange the Bratwürstl baguette and sprinkle with paprika powder.
