For Crispy Fried Okra, soak the okra pods in lemon water for 1-2 hours to prevent them from forming slime. Then dry the pods with kitchen roll and turn them in the beaten egg to which a few dashes of Tabasco have been added. Then coat them in cornmeal and deep-fry them in the crispy fried okra in hot oil.
