For apple packets with puff pastry, peel, core and halve the apples, cut into thin slices and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Cut squares of puff pastry about 10 x 10 cm of the same size. Place apple slices in the center of each square, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Fold the 4 corners of the squares into the middle and make small packets. Press firmly so that the dough does not rise during baking.
Brush with egg yolk and bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees convection until light brown.
Preparation Tip:
With apple puff pastry you can drizzle some applesauce all around on the plate.
